Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast, was a member of both the Fierce 5 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In 2012 the team, she won gold medals in team competitions along with the floor workouts. In the balance beam, Raisman received a bronze. It made her one of the very first American gymnast to compete at the Olympics to earn the most medals. She along with the teammate Gabby Doug were the first Americans who won back-toback golds in team competitions. Her silver medals came in the individual floor and all-around competitions. She took a three-year break between the two Olympics from competing gymnastics. Additionally, she was part of gold-winning American teams at two World Championships. The gymnastics lessons she began at the age of two and her favourite event is floor exercises. Aly is a supporter of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation to honor her mother, who passed away from cancer. Aly plans on pursuing the field of fashion, and is looking to increase her signature line of leotards and socks later on. She's writing a book entitled Fierce to be published at the end of this year.
